Each week we will set a creative challenge and you can send photographs of your entries to display here on the school website.
This week the creative challenge is Favourite Colour - Send your photo entries in JPEG format to us on the email WeeklyChallenge@sellyoak.bham.sch.uk by 3pm each Wednesday
The challenge is open to all students and staff and entries will be shared on the website each week.

Top Tips for taking Great Photos 1. Use gridlines to balance your shot, follow the rule of thirds- e.g. look at the last photo shown here.
2. Zoom in, get close to improve detail.
3. Try different viewpoints, e.g. a bird's eye view, reverse this, crouch low down for a child’s viewpoint. |

4. Avoid using the flash, take photos in natural light with the sun behind you.
5. Lose the filters but explore the editing tools.
6. Check the background, make sure there is nothing to spoil the shot.

7. Turn your phone sideways, hold it steady.
8. Clean the lens!
9. Have fun and don't take it too seriously
