Selly Oak Trust School is totally committed to promoting the welfare of children and supporting families. Below are some helpful documents and links for parents and carers to access support and guidance.

Selly Oak Student Support Fund
The Selly Oak Student Support Fund (Early Help) provides extra funding to support young people and families who may, at some point in time, face challenges in managing the expenses of school life.

As a school, it is important to us to offer our families support at a time when they may need it. These requests are often made by parents/carers, staff, or external professionals, and include assistance with buying school uniforms or funding towards the cost of school trips.

We recognise the positive impact that looking smart can have on students’ learning and wellbeing. Being well-dressed helps students feel confident and part of the school community. Similarly, school trips play a crucial role in growing students' confidence in the world around them and improving their social skills.

The Selly Oak Student Support Fund has supported students by providing items such as:
• School uniforms, outdoor coats, PE kits, and school shoes
• School bags, trainers/pumps for PE
• Undergarments, socks and period pants
• Deodorants, hair brushes, and hygiene routine charts
Contributions towards school trips

The fund continues to be a valuable resource in helping students thrive academically and socially and we are happy to support our families in this way.
If you would like more information, or would like support with any of the suggested items above, please contact Ms Naik on 01214720876
